All ACA-compliant health plans must help all their enrollees pay for certain medical services, regardless of their health status or the plan they buy. These services include labs, emergency services, prescription drugs, mental health/substance abuse care, maternity, and newborn care, pediatrics services, rehabilitative and habilitative services and devices, ambulatory patient services, preventive and wellness services, and chronic disease management hospitalization.
